Janae Whitfield

Janae joined Miller Home for Girls in August of 2025 and brings 20+ years of experience working in child & youth care, education, mentoring and tutoring teens, and early childhood development.

In her role as a Child Care Worker, she strives to demonstrate patience and compassion to the girls with firm but supportive leadership. She has an ability to maintain professional boundaries with both staff and residents. 

She is passionate about the opportunity to empower young girls to build confidence, resilience, and hope for their future. She hopes to assist in providing a safe and nurturing environment where every girl can thrive.

Outside of work, Janae enjoys spending quality time with her two adult daughters and cherishing special moments with her new granddaughter.

Janae hates to pay full price! She’ll happily go the extra mile for a great bargain, an unbeatable sale, or the perfect thrift store find. She loves sharing her amazing deals with everyone around her.
